00:02NVIDIA will provide up to $105 billion in financing for an OpenAI Artificial Intelligence data center in Ohio, according to
00:11CNBC.
00:12The financing will support an initial 4.25 gigawatts of computing capacity with an option for another 3.75 gigawatts.
00:20NVIDIA will provide the compute, with capacity expected to come online in phases beginning in 2028.
00:27SB Energy will build and manage the data center under a 20-year lease to OpenAI.
00:33SB Energy and SoftBank will also build power sources supporting 10 gigawatts and invest at least $4.2 billion in
00:40regional grid infrastructure.
00:42NVIDIA will separately invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy.
