00:00Travel with me to the year 1555 where Europe lives under the shadow of wars, epidemics and religious conflicts.
00:09In that scenario, Michel de Nostradamus writes a letter addressed to Caesar, his son,
00:16introducing a far-reaching temporal reference, the seventh millennium.
00:20I begin my reconstruction here.
00:23Nostradamus places his vision in a succession of ages
00:27that leads from the seventh millennium to the eighth.
00:30In the letter to Caesar, there are words that acquire special relevance when compared with quatrain 1074.
00:38Revolution, Number, Seventh, Thousand and Eyes.
00:41The phrase establishes a precise sequence, and this will be after the visible judgment in heaven.
00:46when we reach the seventh thousand, which completes the whole and brings us closer to the eighth.
00:52The reference takes us to the turn of the millennium.
00:55The year 2001, the 21st century, has just begun.
00:59The calendar falls within the third, but in Nostradamus' chronology another time scale appears,
01:05that of the seventh millennium.
01:07In quatrain 1074, Nostradamus wrote,
01:11In Revolution of the Great Seventh Number, Eyes of Hecatomb will appear in due course,
01:17not far from the Great Thousandth Age, that those who have entered will come out of their tomb.
01:22The Seventh Number Revolution marks the change of stage.
01:25Herein lies a central wordplay.
01:27The French word, used by Nostradamus, suggests a connection between eyes and play.
01:33The combination of both terms brings together three elements: a specific era, some games, and a large number of victims.
01:42The chronology then leads to the beginning of the 21st century and a reference to the Olympic Games.
01:49The vision doesn't stop there.
01:51The next verse says,
01:53Not far removed from the Great Thousandth Age, the connection is reinforced by comparing Revolution, Number, Seventh, Thousand and Eyes.
02:01But then the last verse appears, that those who entered will come out of their tomb.
02:05This phrase takes on a profound biblical dimension.
02:09In the book of Zekiel, there appears the image of the dead who receive breath and come back to life.
02:14In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus speaks of the resurrection of the Son of Man before the multitude.
02:19In the Book of Revelation, the time of the dead appears again, followed by lightning, thunder, an earthquake, and hail.
02:27enormous proportions.
02:29Nostradamus describes the time after the judgment and places humanity in the seventh millennium, approaching the eighth.
02:36At the extreme of this chronology appears the year 3001, identified here as the beginning of the eighth millennium.
02:44The Earth will reach a new state when the divine will is fulfilled.
02:48A chronology constructed with words, linguistic games, and biblical images.
02:54But there is one scene that is hard to forget, an era marked by games, a cataclysm, and the dead leaving their homes.
03:02tombs.
