00:00Malik and Pads today wearing the red jersey, non-contact, but we did get to see him move around a
00:06little bit in some competitive periods, including a catch where he went up down the field, went up for it,
00:12caught it, rolled around a little bit. Your thoughts on Malik and Pads?
00:15Here's my thought on that. The two guys who were near him slowed up like, hey, go ahead, catch that.
00:22That's not going to happen in a real game. That's not going to happen in joint practices. But there was
00:26clearly anybody who touches Malik Neighbors is going to run 60 laps around this field kind of warning.
00:33But, yes, it was good to see him go up, jump, look natural. Just the idea that his body was
00:37able to handle going a second straight day, I think, is important when you're looking to check boxes.
00:41Harbaugh said afterwards, Malik Neighbors is going to play in a game. He's got to take the red jersey off
00:47and get bumped around a little bit.
00:49So we're going to see that at some point this training camp. It's obviously not going to be in Miami,
00:53not going to be before game two.
00:55Maybe it's before game three. Maybe it's that awkward week before the week one game.
00:59But we're going to see Malik Neighbors in a real physical John Harbaugh practice at some point this camp.
01:05What I was encouraged to see when he went up for that football, and I think it was like 40
01:08yards down the field, he went up between those two guys.
01:11Those two guys, like Ryan said, knew not to touch him. But it's not the going up for a guy
01:16that's coming back from a bad knee injury.
01:18It's the coming down. Did I want to see him stick the landing? Yeah, but the way he jumped up,
01:24hit the ground, rolled a little bit, and then went into the end zone, you can see that it's getting
01:29there.
01:29And I think he has a good soreness to him that looks like, okay, we'll ramp it up each day.
01:34And your body, that knee is going to be sore, but as long as it's not sore like you've taken
01:38a step back, you can push it a little bit more day by day.
