The Sound Express — The Sound Express 1969 (Sweden, Psychedelic-Jazz Rock-Proto-Prog)
The Sound Express was formed in a small town called Vänersborg, Sweden. Their debut was voted the best album of 1969. The band, or rather duo, consists of Tillbjörn Persson and Ingemar Landén. They initially played Beatles covers in the 1960s and called themselves Tilles. After changing their name to The Sound Express, they began playing their own compositions. Unfortunately, the duo only released one album. Their sound is similar to Hansson & Karlsson, and perhaps even better!
