00:00come shelling with me in st petersburg florida actually before we do that
00:04don't freak out don't freak out there was it was right by my face this little bird came and swam
00:10super close to us while we were trying to look for shells we didn't think too much of it at
00:14first
00:15but then we started to realize that he might be injured we noticed there was a little bit of what
00:19looked like a bite if you get queasy with this stuff look away we're not entirely sure what
00:23happened yet but we called birds in helping hands and luckily they were still open they're based in
00:28the tampa bay area we were at upham beach which i'm not a local here so i didn't even really
00:33know
00:34where we were but they told us to wrap him up and get him to shore if we were able
00:38to poor little guy
00:39was probably so terrified when we got him to shore we actually noticed these little feet prints by my
00:44sandals then we kind of just let him chill and dry off and kept our distance because we didn't want
00:50to scare him i'm not gonna lie i was hovering a little i felt like a protective mom but i
00:54did end
00:54up shelling a little bit while we were waiting for the rescuer to come i believe i found a shark
00:59too
00:59look how cute he is resting so this is thomas he showed up about 20 minutes later and was so
01:05nice
01:05he just swooped up birdie babe and we think that it may have been a hook and i learned that
01:10this species
01:11is called a cormorant they are little torpedoes that die for their fish thank you thomas i'm gonna ask
