00:08speaking of struggling, Kyle Tucker has had a really nice season in his first year for the
00:12Dodgers when he's not playing in Los Angeles. But when he is playing in Los Angeles, the numbers
00:18are ugly. And Dave Roberts, the skipper of the Dodgers yesterday, said that he's starting to
00:23see the frustration when he plays at home. So they didn't play him for a day. Now the good
00:29news is that this is not Philadelphia or New York, and LA fans are technically and typically
00:36very forgiving when it comes to their players. But I was sort of surprised that the skipper
00:41let this one out here, Tom. I didn't see this coming. This is not something that always comes
00:46to light a little bit. He could have just said, given a day off. But yeah, I mean, I guess
00:53this is what's going on with KT.
00:56Yeah, I approach this from two different angles. Are we looking at it from the manager
01:01team dynamic? Dave Roberts is actually saying this verbatim. He actually is pointing to
01:07something directly. Or am I taking the approach of like, what am I going to be looking at in
01:11Kyle Tucker's home road splits? That is there a reason for that? The thing I want to say
01:17is maybe just taking him time getting adjusted to the sight lines in LA, like the hitter's eye
01:22in the back. Like, is there actually some fundamental mechanical reason that Kyle Tucker
01:25is struggling when in reality, he's an awesome hitter. He did it when he was with the Astros
01:30for so many years. He was good when he was on the Cubs last year. Like, is there something
01:34in LA's park that is making him struggle? Because he's very good on the road. Like, there's a
01:39very stark difference. So I want to know if there's actually something different approach
01:43from that angle. Or is it the team dynamic? Dave Roberts actually saying this is actually
01:47something pretty unique. And do we need to be looking at that? Or do we need to change a
01:50spot on the roster? It could be that simple as a fix.
