The UK's first sauna arts center combines sauna with theater

Audiences at the ‘Sauna theater’ in Edinburgh are in for an unusual treat at the UK’s first purpose-built sauna arts center, where activities include a morning sauna rave, a lunchtime literary salon, and evening sauna cabaret. The performances merge theater, literature and dance with the sauna-native artform Aufguss. “It was like therapy for me, like musical therapy, and body therapy,” says one of the attendees.
