Queen Hedwig, a martyred queen, is reborn as a lowly maid. She ventures into the deep royal palace and revives her son, the critically ill king. After her identity is revealed, she seizes royal authority, reorganizes the court, cracks down on corruption, and defends the Kingdom of Aquileia once again.
