00:00This I baked with my own hands, husband.
00:02And I am not carrying it back down those stairs.
00:05Eat.
00:06Five blades drawn, and a roost full of dragons.
00:09Her hand did not shake once.
00:14You bought me.
00:15You may own this cluff on my wrist.
00:17You will never own the rest of me.
00:20I will not love you.
00:25He's going to ravage me now.
00:27I don't want to lose it like this.
00:30No.
00:32I do not know what came over me.
00:35I will take only what you give me tonight.
00:37Sleep, little queen.
00:38At dawn you watch what your husband walks into for you.
00:43He's sparing my virginity.
00:45For now.
01:01First night here, and my wife will not eat.
01:05Is this a northern thing?
01:07Or are you actually trying to starve yourself?
01:10Starving myself?
01:12Skybound children went hungry all winter so I could eat.
01:16I do not waste food.
01:20I do not even know what half of this is.
01:22You have never put southern meat in your mouth.
01:24My father never let his daughters pass the inner wall.
01:28We ate what the kitchens cooked.
01:30And the kitchens cook north.
01:35Open.
01:37No wife of mine goes hungry at my own fire.
01:45There.
01:47The north did not crumble.
01:49Your color is up, wife.
01:51I am warm from the fire.
01:52The fire is behind you.
01:53I am the one in front.
02:17We just got married and he is already doing this.
02:20I knew it.
02:21I knew exactly what he was.
02:26Kassia.
02:28Stop.
02:29Not one more step.
02:36Sit.
02:38Run from her in tears and by morning the hole keeps as the north broke in a week.
02:54Blackclaw law does not let a warlord settle a woman's war.
02:57This is between the two of you, wife.
03:01Settle it.
03:03Or sit there and watch it settle itself.
03:07I warned you the first night, little bird.
03:10He needed a treaty.
03:12Not a wife.
03:13You cannot even hold his eyes.
03:15I have held the rest of him for years.
03:17Are you truly going to let her do this, Ravak?
03:20She is in your seat, little queen.
03:22And weeping has never moved a Blackclaw off anything.
03:34Watch, northern girl.
03:38This is how you hold a man like him.
03:41He wants me to break and beg him to stop.
03:43I will choke on my own tongue before I give that woman the satisfaction.
03:48Well, wife.
03:50The seat is still yours if you want it.
03:53No!
04:10Your beast is as ill-mannered as your bride.
04:14Ravek, call it off and let me finish what I came up to do.
04:19Eyes on me, Cassia.
04:20Watch what you keep handing another woman.
04:23Because you are too proud to take it yourself.
04:26Enough games.
04:29Let me give him the rest.
04:31Where the little bird can watch and learn her place.
04:35Stop!
04:36That is enough!
04:38The seat is mine.
04:40And so is the man.
04:42Move!
04:44You heard the queen.
04:46Off!
04:47I will say this once.
04:48I am Cassia, Ravek's wife.
04:51Stay away from him.
04:53Or find out what happens to women who do not.
04:57He does not want you!
04:59Your own father sold you off like a lame mask no other man would take!
05:03Ah!
05:15He keeps you because you tease and never give.
05:18The day he tires of your weeping, he throws you back over the wall to your dying little kingdom, dragon
05:22or no dragon.
05:23Say one more word about my people and I will give you a matching mark on the other side.
05:29Your people are already dead, little bird.
05:32They simply have not lain down yet!
05:35A dragonless treaty playing at Warlord's wife.
05:39He will tire of you.
05:41And I will still be here.
05:43And your north will still be ash under our boots!
05:47Ah!
05:48Ah!
05:50You raised this hand at a Black Claw queen.
05:53Be glad I only gave it back to you.
05:55He hit her for touching me.
05:57Not because she was embarrassing him.
05:59For touching me.
06:00I am still thinking about that.
06:10The Black Claw do not kill women.
06:12Be glad.
06:14Get out of my keep.
06:16And hope I forget your father's name by morning.
06:27Come to the war map then, queen.
06:30The whole horde should see where the queen stands.
06:33Have you lost your mind?
06:35You let that woman paw at you while I sat caged behind your dragons.
06:39And now you call me to your map as if nothing happened on it.
06:42Drusilla's father holds my eastern passes so I let her games go on too long.
06:45Today you ended them for me in front of the whole horde.
06:49They saw their queen show her teeth.
06:51I will not pretend I am sorry they did.
06:53You needed her father's spears so I paid for them in shame in front of your whole horde.
06:57You know nothing of what shame does to a northern woman.
07:00I know it put fire where there were only tears.
07:03An hour ago you could not hold my eyes.
07:05Now you have struck a warrior's daughter and bared your teeth at me on my own terrace.
07:09I want you exactly this way in my bed.
07:12You are exactly the monster they warned me about when I was little.
07:20You want a dead bride? Say so. A blade is faster than a slow death in this frozen pit as
07:26a thing you bought.
07:27Cassia, put it down.
07:28Why? She was right. You do not care if I live or die here. So I will spare us both
07:34the rest of it.
07:39Look at my side.
07:43I walked through dragon fire to take you.
07:45A man does not burn for a thing he regrets buying.
07:48I walked into that beast fire in front of the whole horde so your people could sleep knowing the binding
07:53was true.
07:54You think I burned for your father's alliance?
07:56I burned for you. Give me the knife little queen.
07:59I burned for you once. I will walk back into that fire every dawn they ask.
08:02Before I let you do that to yourself.
08:15Do not touch me.
08:18The binding fire is barely cold and you let that woman drape herself across your war terrace.
08:23You bar your door to me every night.
08:26Tell me what a man owes a wife who bolts her door.
08:30I do not want you bedding other women.
08:31But you will not bed me.
08:33I am a warlord little queen.
08:35I fight all day. At night I need a woman.
08:37If that is not you it will be someone else.
08:39Then perhaps I will find some southern boy and let him have me where you can watch.
08:43And we will see how the great warlord likes it.
08:46I would feed him to my dragons one piece at a time.
08:51And put the leash in your hand.
08:56Then do it Ravec.
08:58Take me now and be done.
09:00So I can hate you honestly.
09:02Go on!
09:03You will not get gentle from me.
09:05Gentlemen do not survive the frozen waste.
09:08But I swore at the binding fire that you come to me on your own feet or not at all.
09:12And my horde has watched me keep harder oaths than that.
09:15Though the horde will sing about your hand at that woman's mouth for a year.
09:18Keep the jealousy.
09:19I do not want Drusilla.
09:21Then why parade her in front of me at all?
09:23If you do not want her?
09:24I told you.
09:25I do not do love.
09:26But I want you.
09:27Only you.
09:28More than I know what to do with.
09:30I told myself I would never feel anything for him.
09:33I came all the way down here telling myself that.
09:35I am such a liar.
09:38All that fury at Drusilla.
09:41And now you are breathing hard with my hands.
09:44On you.
09:45Tell me to stop then.
09:51What happens next?
09:53Download real shorts.
