Ryan Gosling Goes from Mouseketeer to Star Wars at D23

Ryan Gosling just went from Mouseketeer to a galaxy far, far away. At D23, Gosling walked onstage wearing a Mickey Mouse Club jacket honoring where his Disney career began before trading it for the jacket worn by his new Star Wars: Starfighter character, Kade Auberon.

Gosling plays a rogue from the wrong side of the galaxy who becomes connected to the fastest starfighter ever built. Directed by Shawn Levy, Star Wars: Starfighter gives the franchise a new story and character while putting one of Hollywood's biggest stars behind the controls.

Star Wars: Starfighter opens exclusively in theaters on May 28, 2027, exactly 50 years after the original Star Wars arrived in theaters.
