00:04recently did with not one, but two books by Myron Gaines, the fresh and fit host, called
00:10Why Women Deserve Less, and more recently, Why Women Deserve Even Less. Gaines's thesis that
00:17runs through the book is that the biggest waste of time in a man's life is women. It's not just
00:22a fringe book, even though Gaines waxes poetic about a time when women had to find and keep a
00:26man happy by having sex even when they didn't want to. In fact, it has 1,000 reviews on Amazon
00:32on
00:33one of the books and another 350 or so on the other. One thing that Gaines is right about is
00:38that
00:38men and women are experiencing a dating world that is radically reinvented by a ton of different
00:44sociological changes, and a lot of them feel really disoriented. But where Gaines goes wrong is by
00:49implying that women are the bad guy and it's an us versus them battle of the sexes. The only way
00:55that
00:55we're going to end up at a healthy or romantic future is if men and women collaborate in figuring
00:59out how we can work with what we have and find a better way forward, not point fingers and blame
01:05one another and say that all men suck or all women are gold diggers.
