Check out this adorable encounter as a curious family of raccoons gathers outside a home, with one of the babies appearing to play with a woman through the glass door.

Chelsea Buchanan, from Kansas City, Missouri, USA captured the heartwarming moment after a mother raccoon brought her babies onto the patio.

The video shows several raccoons gathered outside the glass door at night as the curious youngsters peer inside. One baby raccoon places its paws against the glass, seemingly following the woman's hand movements and touching her fingers through the window.

Chelsea said: “Mama raccoon brought her babies over, and the babies were curious about me and playing with me.”

Viewers couldn't resist the adorable encounter.

One commented: “There is absolutely NO WAY I would be able to resist like you! I would have already created a bedroom for them and been luring them in with marshmallows.”
