"I was asleep with my son and his mother when I noticed the rain but had no idea flooding was occurring until the water began to rise around us, even with my baby next to me. We had to escape quickly. I saw others on a roof, and they helped my wife and child up there. I followed them afterward," explained Charles, the filmer, to WooGlobe.
