00:21That's one of the most senior roles in the Catholic Church here in WA.
00:25Now he had that role for 25 years and the court and the jury today found it's a post that
00:31he abused.
00:32And what happens next?
00:36The former Bishop Christopher Allen Saunders, he didn't apply for bail so he'll spend his first night tonight in jail.
00:42He is in custody and he'll return here to the District Court on September 21 for a sentence hearing.
