00:00So, hi, I'm here with Santina Russell, in front of the Leavers 2026 Board of Photos,
00:07and I think you've already found yourself on there, haven't you?
00:08Yeah, on the start.
00:09Yeah, at All Hallows.
00:12So, Santina, tell me, how did you get on?
00:15I did really well. I got an ADC, which is what I needed to go to Cardiff, so I'm really
00:20happy with that.
00:21So what were those A-levels?
00:22I did politics, English Lit and RA, and I'm doing philosophy at Cardiff.
00:28Oh, philosophy?
00:29Oh, really?
00:29Yeah, and that's what I got an ADC.
00:31Oh, so, because is it sort of RE and philosophy, the way you do RE here, is it?
00:35So when we do RE, we do like RE, DCT and ethics, so DCT is like Christianity.
00:41DCT?
00:41Yeah, so it's like distinction, Christian thought, it's just like Christianity, and then ethics and philosophy.
00:47And my favourite part of that was the philosophy bit.
00:50And so at my uni, I'm getting to do just philosophy, with a little bit of ethics in there.
00:55Fantastic.
00:55Yeah, I'm really excited.
00:56And that's quite a very academic subject philosophy.
01:01Yeah, it's a lot of writing, which I don't think I was quite prepared for.
01:05And you're going off this coming September?
01:07I'm undecided, yeah. I've got to make a decision like today or tomorrow.
01:10But I might decide to do a gap year, save up some money, go travelling.
01:14My sister's also doing a gap year at the moment, which is exciting, so yeah, we'll both be going together
01:18and that could be cool.
01:19Okay.
01:19But I don't know, because it's quite exciting to be independent and live by yourself.
01:23Yes.
01:23Also, I don't know yet.
01:25You've got a sister at the same age?
01:27No, my sister's 21, so she just finished uni.
01:29Got you.
01:30Yeah.
01:30I understand, yes.
01:31Yes, so, and you've heard good reports of uni and...
01:35Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:36So my sister, both my boyfriend's sister and uni, and they loved it.
01:39I don't think it's not for everyone, obviously, but they were quite academic people.
01:43And then, like, the social side of it, like, my sister's very much, like, a social person.
01:46And so, like, she was like, you're going to have the best time.
01:48And my friends from work goes farther, and apparently the social life is great.
01:52So I'm excited.
01:54Yeah.
01:54So you're working already, so what have you been doing?
01:57So I haven't got any jobs yet, so I've just got a little, like, part-time job.
02:01Okay.
02:01So if I do decide I'm going to either...
02:04It's pretty ridiculous.
02:05I'm either going to be an elf in that one.
02:07I've just got to start doing, like, my thing for...
02:09Which I think is more for the experience and the money.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Or if I decide I want to go, like, proper, like, backpacking, getting the track, like, travelling,
02:16then I'll do, like, more serious of, like, waitressing and have a couple more of them.
02:21And, like, yeah.
02:22Yeah.
02:22And have you enjoyed your time here at All Hallows?
02:24I've loved All Hallows.
02:25Like, All Hallows is my favourite place ever.
02:27It's such, like...
02:28The teachers here have been absolutely incredible.
02:30They have helped me, like, throughout all my A-levels.
02:32I'm not a very academic person, and, like, they've really, like, kept me on track.
02:35And, yeah.
02:36And it went paid off.
02:37And you've been here since Year 7, have you?
02:39Yeah, I've been here since Year 7.
02:40Yes.
02:41Well, brilliant.
02:42And you'll miss it, will you?
02:43Yeah, I'll miss it.
02:44And I said to all my friends, I was like,
02:45I actually don't want to go.
02:46Like, if I could stay here forever, I would.
02:47Like, if All Hallows did a uni, I would be going to All Hallows uni.
02:49I love you.
02:50So, that.
02:51Well, well done.
02:52I really wish you well.
02:55Thank you so much.
