At Johns Hopkins, an autonomous surgical robot called SRT-H removed a gallbladder on its own — a 17-step operation it got right 8 times out of 8. 🤖

Nobody hand-coded it; it learned by watching real surgeons operate, and it even takes spoken corrections mid-procedure. Smart as tireless, superhuman precision… but for the first time, nobody's hand was on the controls during the cut. (It's not in a real operating room yet — this was a lab, on animal tissue, with human trials maybe a decade out.) When a robot clips the wrong duct, who owns that cut — the surgeon, the hospital, or the company that trained it?
