00:00Why can I not become a British officer?
00:08Because you are not British, George.
00:12There must be a path.
00:13There is not for you.
00:23I sense a storm looming over the Ohio Territory.
00:30I could go there and survey it for you.
00:32So you have ambition.
00:35Since the Crown sent me to serve, I've yet to have a good experience with a colonist.
00:40I look forward to changing your opinion.
00:44Much of that territory is unexplored.
00:47It's wild, unpredictable, and dangerous.
00:51What are you called?
00:53George Washington.
00:55Whose four is that?
00:57It's the French.
00:58The land claimed by the British Crown.
01:03Demand the French leave.
01:05Who does own this land if not the one who has the will to tame it?
01:12Tell your king we will never leave.
01:19Then they will force you to leave.
01:22Oh.
01:24These are not the open battlefields to which you're accustomed.
01:26I have fought in a great many battlefields.
01:29Not in the new world, sir.
01:32If you fail, I have a colonial to blame.
01:35This is a direct order and we will obey it.
01:38Fire!
01:39It's not your fault, George.
01:42Major Washington.
01:43You lost.
01:44You started a war!
01:49George, there's no fairness here.
01:51That is not the way the world works!
01:52Then someone should remake it!
01:56Choose your path.
01:58Make it yours.
02:02Forward!
02:06And prove them wrong.
