00:00We've learned that the Justice Department has unsealed a case against the former chief financial officer of the Southern Poverty
00:08Law Center.
00:09Can you please speak a little bit about what you've learned as part of that investigation and if we should
00:13expect more charges?
00:16So, yes, today, my understanding is today there was an arrest made and there is a new indictment that includes
00:23the former CFO of SPLC.
00:26I don't have any comments about whether we said from the beginning, everybody, not just me, but anybody who's talked
00:32about this case, like virtually every criminal case, the fact that an indictment is returned doesn't end the investigation.
00:40It's just part of the investigation in most cases, which is certainly true in this case.
00:44I think as alleged in the indictment, this individual participated in the scheme.
00:49As alleged, I believe she was part of the effort to open bank accounts and completely fictitious companies' names and
00:56make payments to individuals for reasons that were not accurate as described.

01:18which is that our investigators and the U.S. attorneys and the agents working the case will keep on working
