00:25A rep for the singer has confirmed Stewart will be unable to continue his one last time
00:29farewell tour following a coronary stent procedure.
00:33This comes after the singer, famous for songs like Do You Think I'm Sexy,
00:37canceled his Tuesday night show at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland,
00:41shortly after he postponed his Sunday show in Cincinnati at the Riverbend Music Center.
00:46At the time, that venue said it was due to unforeseen but minor medical procedure
00:51that required prompt attention.
00:53Stewart also canceled a few dates earlier this year, including two in Las Vegas
00:58and one in San Diego.
00:59The reason for that one was a sinus infection.
01:02But then he was spotted the next day at a World Cup match in Boston,
01:06which raised some eyebrows from fans.
01:09The Maggie Mae hitmaker was scheduled to perform through September 3rd in North America,
01:13including his six-night Vegas residency at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace,
01:18plus a few dates in Mexico.
01:20But now it's all off.
01:22Doctor's orders.
01:23His publicist said in a statement, Rod is doing very well,
01:26and has returned to his normal daily activities,
01:29and he will take the next four weeks to recuperate.

01:33I'm already feeling better and very much on the mend.
01:36I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me.
01:41I'm deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down,
