00:05Italy implementing a suspension following the mayhem we saw in Suta in the Spanish territory,
00:11where, by the way, it was estimated recently there's still thousands and thousands of people
00:16there that crossed illegally. And we also know that some actually did reach mainland Spain,
00:25believe it or not. And the Italians, Georgia Maloney, taking action and putting in place a
00:31suspension of the EU's Schengen border arrangements for one month, following what you've seen
00:42with Georgia Maloney there saying that this extraordinary measure has been adopted to
00:46safeguard national security and prevent possible repercussions for our nation. Now, the Spanish
00:52left-wing government don't seem to be very happy about this at all. And by the way, also know
00:58that one of the estimates there, including from the mayor of Suta, that actually 8,000 to 11,000
01:07people are still wandering around this city. Now, Italy has actually hit back against Spain,
01:16saying they're not going to take orders from them, that they're not going to accept ultimatums
01:19or demands, that they are going to keep in place these controls until the 15th of August,
01:26until security and terrorism risks to Italy can be ruled out. And not only once that has been ruled
01:33out and there are no new waves of illegal migration, will they change position. Italy also hitting out
01:42at Spain's response to this because what you have seen are retaliatory measures. It's actually seen
01:50that thousands of people arriving from Italy to Spain actually facing checks.
02:00But Italy, they're suspending EU rules. I suspect some in Italy may want to see that suspension become
