00:03What has it been for you at this moment of your career being Robin Hood
00:09and especially why you want to give us another aspect, revisit in a certain way his legend?
00:19Well, what I loved was this idea of not just there's nuance to a hero
00:26but almost why do we need heroes?
00:29Like what are the stories that we are constantly telling or regurgitating?
00:34What is it we need from them?
00:36And to examine that because it's really about the power of story
00:41and that even on a personal level we tell stories about ourselves,
00:46we tell stories about our past or the people in order to, for whatever purpose,
00:51usually self-serving.
00:52And what I really love in the end of this movie without giving it away
00:56is this idea of can story be used for the betterment of someone else?
01:01In terms of good and bad, we have all sort of different aspects
01:05and being honest with yourself about it gives you a freedom.
01:09And I think examining all of our heroes,
01:11I just read a beautiful biography on Martin Luther King
01:15and it's a really human portrait of someone that is just idolised
01:20and somehow knowing the humanity of him made me love him even more
01:27or it made me be even more inspired by him.
01:29Thank you.
01:32Grazie a tutti.
