Humanoid robots enter Chinese workplaces, boosting demand across manufacturing chain

00:07China's manufacturing sector is continuing to integrate robots into its factory and real-world
00:12scenarios, while the companies that make the robots are seeing an increase in demand.
00:17This refueling robot is undergoing last-minute testing before it's dispatched to a gas station.
00:23There's already one working at a service station in Foshan, while other robots are
00:27being introduced into factories to do things like loading, sorting, and building.
00:34Our robots have already started operating in actual factories, for example, loading and
00:39unloading materials, sorting materials, and connecting components. They have all begun
00:44to truly perform their tasks. Companies that make the robots or robot parts are trying to keep up
00:50as well. This firm from Shenzhen makes parts for the joints of a humanoid robot. They say they're
00:56orders in hand for 2026 now totaled over 1 million units.
01:03This year, more than a dozen clients have locked in orders. At the start of the year,
01:07they gave us a full annual plan. We deliver according to their schedule. For us,
01:12the biggest pressure right now is keeping up with delivery.
01:17Morgan Stanley recently estimated that China's humanoid robot market will reach 2 billion U.S.
01:23dollars this year and grow to 15 billion by the year 2030.
