00:00Hi everyone, hope you're okay. This seems so weird because I never do videos like this
00:04but I just wanted to come on and say something. I am in my pajamas, I've put the kids to
00:11bed,
00:12I've got all the uniforms, bags ready, I'm going to take them to school tomorrow and then I am
00:17going to head the airport. A lot of you might have seen and heard and there's been a lot of
00:22speculation but I can confirm I am going in the jungle. Do you know what? They've asked me for
00:29so many years now and I've just always said no or put it off because kids have been young and
00:35I've
00:35had a lot on and then this year I just thought, do you know what? I quite fancy doing it.
00:41I would like
00:43to experience it, something different, do something for myself, meet new people. I'm looking forward
00:52to doing the trials. There's been a lot of news saying that I can't do trials because of
00:59certain illnesses and that but I can confirm I can do every trial so I am not exclusive from any.
01:07That was just a load of rubbish and I am, yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong,
01:15I am really anxious about leaving the kids. That's my biggest thing and for weeks and months
01:22that's been on my mind but I've come to terms with it. I've planned, I've prepped, I've got an army
01:29of
01:29people, family, friends, school friends all helping out with the kids so they are going to be fine.
01:37They are probably going to have a great time when I'm away. I have prepped, as you can see
01:43behind me that is like literally front and back, four weeks of just timetables, football runs, parties,
01:56just everything and then before I just wrote them all a little card each to open when they come home
02:06from school tomorrow and a little teddy to keep so that they know that I am constantly thinking of
02:13them. While I'm away, I will have friends taking over my social media so hopefully they keep you
02:22updated with everything that is going on and yeah, I am looking forward to it. It's going to be a
02:29massive change for me, sleeping outdoors and yeah, not having any items in there but you know what I'm
02:37looking forward to is just having time to myself to think and to reflect over things which I never
02:44get to do like that much because I'm always, you know, in mum mood, constantly thinking, constantly
02:52planning and we've even done Letters to Father Christmas today so they'll get posted on the way to
02:58school tomorrow. That was another thing that I wanted to make sure I do before I go. So yeah,
03:05I'm constantly thinking so in there it's going to be hard to not having any contact but it will give
03:10me time to just reflect and think of all the things that I am grateful for and especially these. So
03:19I hope

03:29I've just stopped that video and then I thought I haven't even said how much of a fan I am
03:35of the
03:36show and we are as a family. We love it every year when it comes on. We laugh, we cringe,
03:44we shiver.
03:45So yeah, I think the family when I'm on are going to be absolutely hooked because we love it every
03:52year
03:52anyway. And then I know a few past people, friends that have been on there and they have said how
03:59much of a great time the VAD when they've been on the show. So hopefully I come out saying the
04:05same.
