00:00Come and spend the morning with me on a typical training day when I'm home in the UK.
00:05One good thing about the kids being early risers is that there's plenty of time to have breakfast with them
00:09and usually read a story with them before I head off.
00:12They're usually up at around five in the morning and I leave at around half six to get to training.
00:17Our first session's about 7.30 in the morning and typically we'll start with a long row
00:23so it'll be between an hour and a half and two hours on the water.
00:27So just lots of miles, lots of steady state rowing along with Esme, Rebecca and Sam in the boat.
00:33After this first session we have a really good second breakfast
00:36to make sure we've got some protein and carbohydrates on board for the rest of the day.
00:41Now on this morning we had a whole team meeting talking about the training camp that I'm actually on right
00:46now
00:47and then after that I had some media stuff with the Olympics being so close.
00:52Then my second session which was lifting weights.
00:55I popped home after that to meet the kids, feed the ducks and get ready for my third session of
01:00the day which was a bike.
