00:02Hi, my name is Michelle Griffith-Robinson. I'm an Olympian, a life coach and a mother of three
00:06beautiful children. One of the key questions I get asked all the time is how did I manage to do
00:12the transition from retiring 16 years ago as an Olympian to what I do now as a successful
00:17businesswoman and actually doing something that I'm passionate about. Well, I would always say
00:21follow what suits you. So my three things are your passion, your purpose and your why. I had to really
00:28dig deep within myself to recognise what really makes me tick. So what makes me tick? I recognised
00:35that with my skill set that I loved fitness. I recognised that I loved people and so amalgamating
00:41all of that together and I wanted to continue to help people. So I wrote down my mission. My mission
00:46was to empower women and girls in every single industry I could. So that's taken me to where I
00:52am today and my advice to you guys or my suggestion to you guys would be find out what makes
00:57you tick.
00:58What brings you joy? What makes you bounce out of bed in the morning or the majority of mornings?
01:04And from that I would say to your passion, your purpose and your why. It's integral to stick to
01:09those three things. And also I'm just going to leave you with one little thing, a little acronym
01:13that I use. Hope. Happiness, opportunity, perseverance and excellence. Happiness, if you're happy you will do
01:22what you do best. Opportunity, grab those opportunities. Perseverance, of course, sometimes it's tough and I'm
01:29not going to sit here and pretend it's always easy. And excellence, do your excellence. Do your excellence.
01:36Thank you guys so much. All the very best. Thank you.
