There are many reasons behind Saira’s desire to try on a selection of breath-taking south Asian wedding outfits, but most poignant of all is the fact it will give her beloved mum Hanifa the chance to see her daughter as an Asian bride, something she missed out on when Saira chose a British wedding dress all those years ago.
