00:04people don't understand is that the cosmetic for the grooming industry now
00:09is very advanced. We have whitening shampoos, we have deep conditionings, we
00:13have hair dye for dogs, semi-permanent, permanent dyes, and everything is vegan,
00:18non-toxic. There's a video on my TikTok where I eat the dye to show people that
00:21it's okay. Even some of the ingredients are food approved and everything that is
00:26made on the dye, it's FDA approved. It does take a long time to get the dog to
00:32look like that, so if they were to come into one of your salons, I think that
00:36one's an easier one, but some of them they could be in there for up to three,
00:39maybe a bit longer hours, and is that okay for a dog? Yeah, it's totally okay,
00:44because usually even a regular haircut, it takes about three and a half hours,
00:49because think about, we just don't do a bath, right? We do the bath, do the nails,
00:53we do the ears, we do the haircut, we have to de-mat a lot of the times. We look
00:57at
00:57the cheats, we do the anal glands, so there's a lot of it that comes in the
01:01process, which is more than if you just go get a regular haircut yourself. When
01:05you apply the dye, it's almost like a deep conditioning. For example, a design
01:09like this, which is just two colors, you apply the dye and the dye has to sit for
01:14about 25 minutes on the dog, but that's time, plenty of time for us to work on the
01:19nails, for us to work on the ears, for us to check for any mats or anything that the
01:23dog has on the body, so it really doesn't add that much time. Some designs are a
01:28little more intricate. We would add about 35-40 minutes to the design, but in this
01:32case, it's really, I would say, 15 extra minutes.
