00:00Kate, how is Derek doing right now?
00:02Well...
00:02And how are you doing?
00:04Bless you. I'm doing OK, thank you. Thank you.
00:07Laura arranged for me to have a massage on Tuesday evening.
00:10So everyone's on board with the supporting Kate thing.
00:13I'm very, very lucky.
00:16Derek has had...
00:17I mean, the problem is, is that I feel like I'm just boring everyone to death, really,
00:21because it ends up with the same thing, which is stable.
00:27But actually, in between, when I'm not talking to you,
00:30there are big ups and big downs.
00:33Not big ups, really.
00:34Small improvements and worrying downs as well.
00:38But the last few days have been pretty stable,
00:42so keeping everything crossed, really.
00:45And you were talking about, you know, the last time we were talking,
00:48just about the restrictions on hospitals and people being able to...
00:54Yeah, it's tough.
00:55It's hard for you to...
00:57It's very hard. It is very hard.
00:59I mean, you completely understand why hospitals have to do it.
01:01You know, they have to protect those inside
01:03who may be recovering from COVID
01:05or may be, you know, dealing with lots of other very serious ill conditions.
01:09But to do that, they have to decrease footfalls.
01:12So, you know, Darcy has not been able to see Derek.
01:15His mum and dad haven't been able to see Derek
01:18for a long, long time now.
01:19The fact that they live in Lancashire and that might go into Tier 2
01:22will have an effect because that will be very tough for them
01:26to argue the case to be able to visit
01:28if they're in one of those areas with high cases.
01:31So, yeah, it is difficult.
01:32And, you know...
01:33And...
