00:06We've been here a few times for very special occasions.
00:09He told me on the 10th July of my birthday that this was part of my birthday present.
00:13I did know that there was a box in the car on the way up.
00:16Yeah.
00:16It was a memory box that said I remember when.
00:18Inside that box were eight other little boxes and each box had a memory and a picture of us
00:26and as I went to box eight I for some reason only read out a little letter inside saying
00:33most importantly I'll remember tonight because it's the night we got engaged.
00:38Yeah.
00:38I actually read it out loud and I looked up and Greg was on one knee with a ring.
00:42I remember every detail you know from her little character traits to what the son was doing at the time
00:48and all the different components so it was a really special memory for us both.
00:52It was so romantic. It was the most romantic night.
00:56and day.
00:57I planned everything literally from the time of day.
01:00I brought it a week early because of the weather and also because I was just so excited.
01:05I couldn't really hold off any longer. It was to the T.
01:08Obviously with this global pandemic it was impossible to travel all the way to London.
01:13I had to resort to FaceTime with Emilia's father and he was absolutely amazing.
01:19He was thrilled for us. He loved our relationship.
01:22It was also really really good for me that I was able to speak to Emilia's mum in person.
01:27She's played a pivotal role in our relationship.
01:30I was able to speak to every single one of Emilia's siblings before it happened.
01:34I've got a twin sister and an older sister and they're two of my very best friends.
01:38They'll be my bridesmaids that's for sure.
01:40Been so supportive so far and I'm sure they'll be as supportive every step of the way.
01:45All Thorpe, it's our Spence family home. Over the 11 years had such incredible memories there.
01:50My father very kindly offered it as a venue.
01:53Obviously with the pandemic going on we haven't started wedding planning
01:56but we'd be very very lucky to get married there. It's beautiful, it's magical.
