00:05Here are some of the really lovely stories we've come across this week.
00:10Now first up, a gorgeous story about these wonderful seal pups
00:14who have been rescued after members of the public spotted them on two separate Norfolk beaches.
00:22They found a really loving home at a sea life centre.
00:26Love it.
00:27Discovered a week apart, the pups were believed to be just a few days old
00:33when they were rescued by British diver medics.
00:37Meet Joe Wicks and Sir Tom.
00:40So gorgeous.
00:42Now you may not have heard of the Miyawaki method,
00:44but we came across this fascinating story about botanist Akira Miyawaki
00:50whose work in the 1970s was responsible for restoring forests on deforested land.
00:57Very important.
00:58Now his method has been used by organisations in France, Belgium and Holland to create new urban forests,
01:07which grow 10 times faster and have 20 times more biodiversity potential than contemporary forests.
01:16The tiny forest initiative started in the Dutch city of Zandam in Holland,
01:21and has already created 100 Miyawaki forests and has another 30 planned for 2020.
01:29And finally, staying with urban areas being regenerated,
01:34we've learnt that this incredible urban farm set upon a Parisian rooftop is set to become the largest urban farm
01:43in Europe.
01:43Currently sat on top of the Paris exhibition centre,
01:48the farm hopes to eventually produce around 1,000 kilograms of fruit and vegetables and expand the agricultural space to
01:58a huge 14,000 square metres.
02:01Now this is part of a growing movement within Paris to produce and consume more local food,
02:08and we think it's très bon.
