00:02Welcome to the beautiful surroundings of Claridge's Hotel where we're all set for a
00:07stunning afternoon tea. Hello is hosting along with the charity Street Child. We're
00:15ready to welcome royalty, it's going to be a thoroughly inspiring day.
00:26I'm really excited because it's, I started this in 92 with Children in Crisis and then
00:33merged with Street Child last year. I really feel strongly that every child has the right
00:38to dare to dream through an education.
00:47I love Street Child, I mean for me it's the connection between education and children
00:51because girls that don't get an education have no way out of poverty, they have no way
00:54out of marriage, they have no way out of having children early. Given an education they can
00:59change their own lives, change their community's lives and Street Child are just a fantastic
01:03example of a charity that empowers girls.
01:08I love the art of giving and it's not about oh you know being a saint, I'm certainly not
01:15or I'm not a saviour, I just love to give and it makes me happy.
01:21I'm so lucky and so proud that I am a very good mum. I did something right and have raised
01:27two
01:28really extraordinary wonderful children who really do work so hard for Britain. They are such a credit
01:34to good education, good parenting and to really good familyhood.
01:41Eugenie has got married and she's got Jack as you know, very happy. Now Beatrice and Edo,
01:46that's very good news and they're very happy and I think it's a joy that I can now start mothering
01:53me.
01:54My life is beginning at 60 and I'm so excited by it. I'm going to celebrate every minute of my
02:00day today.
02:00Happy birthday to you.
02:15Well what a fantastic afternoon, it's been great fun and I'm just thrilled that Hello has been able to
02:20amplify some of the amazing work that Street Child does.
