00:06Hello there this is Rod Stewart and I have to tell you I'm truly delighted to be coming down
00:11to Dover today to send our wonderful brave soldiers off to the beaches of Normandy our
00:18heroes it's gonna be a great day. I too have the great pleasure of being a part of this
00:25remarkable event in capturing these true heroes for hello magazine as I did five
00:31years ago for the 70th anniversary. Good luck.
00:37Today is extremely special we've got a lot of young men who landed on D-Day or on D-Day
00:45on the beaches in Normandy and I think it's fair to say had it not been for them we wouldn't
00:50be here today.
00:55We are sailing, we are sailing home again across the sea. We are sailing stormy water to be made.
01:19I like the map and that's been seen. He didn't talk about his performance, it was about seeing each other
01:27again and you know how were we and everything all right.
01:34He's a nice guy, it's wonderful.
