00:00Social media can be a great place for us to connect with people and have conversations,
00:04but lately we've noticed it's becoming increasingly hostile.
00:07We've seen a real increase in abusive commentary,
00:10particularly regarding the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex.
00:14And these are things that cross the line into racist or sexist and sometimes threatening territory.
00:19It descends into threads where users are personally attacking each other just for having different opinions.
00:24This isn't what hello is about. It's not what social media should be about.
00:27And we don't want our children growing up thinking this kind of behaviour is normal.
00:31We're taking a stand and saying hello to kindness.
00:34For us, it's not acceptable to pit two women against each other.
00:37It's not acceptable to post abusive, threatening, racist or sexist comments online.
00:42And it's not acceptable to attack other users just because they disagree with you.
00:46Post to your followers. Tell them there's no space for hate on your feed or anyone else's.
00:51And before you comment, think. Is it helpful? Is it kind? And would you say it in real life?
