00:00In September last year I started to feel a little unwell and I just got this
00:05pure pain in my stomach where I couldn't even stand up so I knew immediately
00:10that something was wrong. Simon decided to take me into Withenshaw Hospital which
00:14was our local hospital. I was a bit worried because Emma is kind of like all
00:21the special forces rolled into one small body so if she's in pain she's in
00:27pain. The surgeon at the time told me that I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
00:33Being told that was probably the scariest moment of my entire life because I
00:40didn't know what an ectopic pregnancy was and then kind of dealing with the fact
00:44that afterwards that the pregnancy wasn't going to carry on. And that's when it all
00:48kind of you know the realization hit home that this is very serious. I mean the
00:53surgeon said afterwards that another couple of hours and you know she very
00:58possibly may have died.
