00:04Hello everybody! Hi guys! It's been quite some time since we've been on here, for good reason.
00:13Yeah, as some of you may know, in December, at the beginning of December, I had an emergency
00:20craniectomy, and then a couple weeks later had a cranioplasty, and here I am today. It has been,
00:28it's been quite the journey. There's been so much that has happened in two months, lots of emotions,
00:37lots of just all the things. Yeah, it's been wild. I mean, going from like the highest of highs to
00:45the lowest of lows, but I had to say throughout this experience, this woman has been unbelievable,
00:52and her perseverance, and her acceptance of the whole situation, her strength. It's
00:58been remarkable to witness firsthand. She really is a miracle, and it's been miraculous. And it's
01:06still a journey. Yeah. I mean, to this day, I still have really good days, and I have really bad
01:14days,
01:14emotionally and physically sometimes. But I'm doing so much better every single day. Like, truly, there
01:23is so much progress every day. And I'm so grateful for that. There was a moment in the hospital when
01:30I had just
01:32woken up from my first surgery, and Derek sat at the bottom of my bed, and I was like, there's
01:38so many people
01:39thinking about you. There's so many people sending love to you. And I remember just looking at him and
01:46just saying, you didn't even have to tell me that. I can feel it. Like I genuinely, I genuinely felt
01:55that
01:55through my body. I felt it in my heart. I felt it in my soul. So thank you all so
02:02much for all of your
02:03messages, your love, your energy, your light, your prayers. Thank you guys for all of it, because it
02:11means so much to me and to us as a family. And genuinely, I believe that it's what's gotten me
02:21through this a little bit faster. And it's what helped me heal. It's what helped me stay positive
02:26throughout the entire experience. It's a new year. It's a new haircut. A new scar. A new skull. A new
02:36sack of fluid on the side of my face, which is supposed to eventually go away, but right now it's
02:43still there. Just a little cerebral spinal fluid just chilling out on the side there. I also got a new
02:49goal. But yeah, also a new outlook on life. Like life is so precious and just spend time with the
02:58ones you love, hold them close because you never know what could happen. But yeah, I'm grateful for
03:06all the people that support me through everything. It's been a wild one to say the least. I'm just so
03:16thankful for everybody and for this woman for being unbelievable and for impressing me each and every
03:22day. I'm just grateful to be alive and to be here to be able to tell my story. And really,
03:30this is our
03:30story. And it is quite the story. We have a lot to tell. And eventually we will tell that. Yeah,
03:39the way
03:39everything happened and all the moments of grace and tender mercies and just to show the journey, you
03:46know, of what went down, essentially. We will eventually share. But it's not quite yet there.
03:53Yeah. We love you all. Thank you all so much.
