00:00Oh it was an extraordinary moment when she told me of course it's an incredible
00:04thing to be part of such a historic moment and the fact that also the
00:09opportunity to work with her. It was very collaborative I think she had very much
00:14seen my work and knew what I did. Part of it was really conversations at the
00:18beginning and then through a series of sketches that I proposed to her and we
00:23exchanged conversations about what would be the ultimate sort of lines and
00:28proportions and the scale of the dress but over time we quickly got to a point
00:34where I know she felt relieved that she knew exactly what she wanted, how I tried
00:39some toiles and some of the mock-ups that I'd shown her and then it evolved into the
00:44final design and I came up with the idea of maybe representing each of the
00:49countries, the 53 countries of the Commonwealth, through their flora and fauna
00:53and we both love the story of that and it also meant that every single one of
00:58those countries also journeyed up the aisle with her which I thought was a
01:02really poetic moment.
