00:00I felt like it was a really different role for me to play and I was really excited to be
00:05in a movie with a Latin cast. We shot in Colombia and it's so beautiful there and the people were
00:12so friendly. I really love Latin people where I'm from. It was very black and white and when I first
00:18came to LA I met so many amazing Latin people along the way that you know it just felt right
00:25you know it just felt right for me to play and Margaret's not Latin. She's a white girl. She
00:30doesn't understand like she's in Colombia and I think one girl speaks English. It's all in Spanish
00:38and it's very confusing for her because she does not know like I know words and I know phrases
00:44but my character Margaret doesn't know anything and so as the time changes and things become more
00:52confusing and she got sober in in the movie she and I'm playing a real character so for that I
00:59wanted to honor her the best way I could but she the real Margaret she got sober because she was
01:06in
01:06the elite New York scene and she gets sober and um and is go right back at it again. I
01:15think that
01:15the challenges were not really like you know I'm used to hearing um uh Spanish in uh in Los Angeles
01:24and it was very different with in Colombians they speak Spanish a little different right and so that
01:32was a big challenge and then just being thrown into the scenes and like you I kind of had to
01:38know
01:38what they were saying already in order to respond so but they were amazing the director was like spot
01:46on with everything and they brought in a guy that lived in Colombia he worked with um John Leguizano
01:54on um his lines and the way he spoke to make sure it was perfect and you know it was
02:02amazing and
02:03like the last scene I'm in is with John Leguizano as Pablo Escobar and I was so scared it was
02:11so
02:12terrifying he looked so scary I mean off camera he's very nice but as Pablo it was scary and then
02:20the
02:20guys like throw me in a car and I told him just do it and I I was sore going
02:27home for sure it was like
02:28really cool to be in scenes with someone like him but the whole cast is amazing the whole cast
02:35they really brought it and and so that helped being being in scenes with real actors it was no joke
