00:19The great thing about one of these designs, the ones we're seeing here, these mugs are decorated
00:23by hand using a cut sponge. That's a traditional technique that had completely died out when I
00:28came to Stoke in the early 80s with this idea of hand-decorating English earthenware. So
00:35I had to reinvent it and it's got several advantages. The main one is that it makes the
00:42stuff look so special. It's a very beautiful soft colour effect. The thing about them is
00:48everything about their love affair and their marriage and their wedding is very inclusive
00:54and you can see they've really got a plan. They've got huge plans to do great things
00:58and I feel very admiring of that and hope to offer the sort of merchandise that enables
01:07people to join in with that.
