00:02I'm afraid of death, I'm afraid of pain, I'm afraid of loss of people who I want.
00:11Those are the things that I do.
00:14I'm afraid of injustice.
00:19That people suffer from things that they don't deserve to suffer.
00:24That's what I do.
00:26Terror, panic.
00:28Probably almost like death.
00:33When I watched the movie for the first time, they sent it to Malaga to the cinema and I saw
00:38it on a big screen.
00:40And then, yeah, it got me.
00:42I said, oh my god.
00:44There are a number of scenes in the movie that actually got me with my guard down.
00:51As I actually didn't do it.
00:54But it really surprised me the way it was edited and the music that was in there.
01:01And how they were searching for a very specific pulse in the movie.
01:08And rhythm that gave the movie something very electric and very beautiful and very emotional.
01:17After my heart attack, I had a...
01:21It was almost like an epiphany, a new revelation that I was not actually doing the things that I wanted
01:28to do.
01:29I was living more the life of others and the projections that they had over me.
01:36What they want me to be and I wasn't just playing the game.
01:41And at that particular moment I said, no, this is not right.
01:45I have to live my life.
01:49The day I did actually the screen test with her.
01:54You know, I mean, I was already in the movie, in Desperado.
01:58But she wasn't.
01:59And they were, I wouldn't say names, but they were very famous actresses that came to do that audition to
02:05just pick the character off of the girl.
02:08And I remember how nervous she was.
02:12I remember that I got a scene with her and I was holding her and she put her hand on
02:17my shoulder.
02:18She was shaking so hard that it almost took me to tears, you know.
02:25I could feel in my shoulder.
02:29And I remember that, you know.
02:31I was just doing interviews with her before.
02:34That was a long time ago.
02:36She's a very smart woman.
02:38Life gives us all cards.
02:44With the cards that she received, she played the best game she could play.
02:50I want to do things that are coherent, reasonable.
02:57Treat people nicely as they deserve to be treated.
03:01And practice what I love, which is an art.
03:07You know, the art of telling stories and reflect.
03:10That allows me to reflect and reflect in front of other people.
03:14And to just, I think, that I do, really do, seriously believe that art makes the world better.
