00:01We shot for a month and a half in this resort in Puerto Rico.
00:07It was one of the most beautiful hotels in Puerto Rico that the Hurricane Maria destroyed.
00:14It was completely destroyed by the hurricane.
00:16So the production of the show rented that hotel.
00:21They rebuilt the whole hotel for us to shoot there.
00:24So the whole hotel was our location.
00:27And then there's a hurricane in the show too.
00:29And they destroyed the hotel again for us.
00:32So being in that hotel for two months shooting,
00:36having the whole hotel for us was like a crazy kind of a shining experience in a way.
00:43That was a lot of fun. That was very special.
00:48When I read episode one and two, I was barely in them.
00:51I was like, hey, I'm not even in the show.
00:53Like, what are you talking about?
00:54And he was like, no, no, no, trust me.
00:56Like the first two episodes are just like a setup for your character to come in.
01:01And then I read them and he was right.
01:04So the tricky part was in those two first episodes, in those few scenes, hook the audience.
01:13You know, like show just a glimpse of what this character could be.
01:17And then, as the show does all the time, twist everything.
01:23Like, I think that's one of the things I love about the show is like, you never really know what
01:26the show is about.
01:27It's always transforming into something different.
01:30And my character, Balthazar and Luna, the other Mexican actress in the show, these guys are like the keepers of
01:39the secrets of this resort.
01:41Of all the things that happened 15 years ago before the hurricane destroyed everything.
01:47So when you have that opportunity as an actor to have a secret for the other characters and for the
01:53audience makes everything more interesting.
01:59It was it was a lot of fun and it was terrifying at the same time because it was supposed
02:04to be like this iconic moment in the show.
02:08Everyone was very excited about that.
02:11And I don't know if you might not believe this after seeing the show, but I'm a terrible dancer.
02:16Like I've done musical theater a couple of times and it takes me a long, a long time to get
02:25the choreographies and the moves.
02:28So, yeah, it was a lot of work.
02:30And it was also very challenging because the DP, the director of photography of the show, he does all the
02:38videos for Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
02:41So I was very intimidated by that, you know, like, so when we were dancing, when we when I was
02:46dancing for the first time in the first scene, I told, hey, Chago, Chago, come on.
02:51Can I ask you something? And he was like, yeah, yeah, sure.
02:54I was like, do you have any advice for me, like something I should change?
02:58And he was like, oh, no, man, you're killing it.
03:00So after that, I relaxed more and I had a lot of fun.
03:03It was like being in a Mexican wedding.
03:06You know, I was dancing for like eight hours doing that scene. So, yeah, it was fun.
03:13We shot the resort for four months in Puerto Rico, which is a beautiful place.
03:19But I have to say that the best thing of shooting this show was having all this incredible experience and
03:27time with this fantastic army of clowns.
03:31Like every single person in the cast is like an extraordinary comedian.
03:36You know, like they're very funny people. They're very smart, very sharp.
03:39So it was. Yeah, it was a pleasure to work with them.
03:43And I think the people are going to love the results because it's a very mysterious show.
03:49But it's also a lot. It sounds a lot of fun to watch.
