00:32Sadly, Katrine Walker passed away in 2010, but under the head of design, Saeed Cyrus, their elegant, structured creations are
00:40now worn by celebrities and royals, including the Duchess of Cambridge, Darcy Bustle and Carol Middleton.
00:47Specialising in bespoke tailoring and exquisite hand-embroidered evening wear fit for a princess,
00:52the 30-strong team at Catherine Walker & Co. also creates bridal wear, such as this hand-appliqued zibeline and

01:01In the discreet atelier, tucked away across the road, Hello was given an exclusive look at two of the label's
01:07most famous pieces, both worn by Diana, and now securely archived in the company's private collection.
01:14This ivory, beaded, lace halter neck dress was made for a visit to Washington for a charity gala hosted by
01:21Ralph Lauren and Anna Wintour,
01:23while the belted red dress was worn by Diana on her last official day appearance in July 1997.
01:30Saeed Cyrus still holds a roll of fabric he designed and used for a dress The Princess wore to a
01:36charity auction at Christie's in New York that same year.
01:39It was hand-embellished with sequin and crystal embroidery, as so many of the atelier's creations are to this day.
