00:02Um, we didn't we didn't know any of the nominations before we got here today
00:07like we they just we get here and they give you the cards and we didn't actually
00:10see each other sets of cards so we only we only knew the nominations in sort of
00:13five or six categories each but that's why I was kind of when we and then we
00:17rehearsed it once just to make sure that we didn't totally screw up anybody's
00:19names and then I was kind of trying to surreptitiously look over your shoulder
00:24to see if certain people have been nominated and yeah but it's kind of it's
00:28quite it's actually quite chilled out it's weirdly laid-back
00:31Good to keep it a surprise to ourselves as well not knowing who each other has got on each of
00:35these cards
00:35These great poker faces on stage I mean also as well I mean of the films that were this movie
00:40now there's quite a few in there have you seen any of them? Have you managed to catch me this
00:44year that have really blown you away that you'd like to see walk away with an award?
00:47Um, I thought The Guard was was brilliantly funny um in terms of the best film category I'm I don't
00:56know I
00:56I mean I'm I'm obviously a like I know Gary Oldman so I'm a big supporter of his and would
01:01love to see him win
01:03um and yeah I'm just kind of delighted with the fact that Plotter's in there in technical categories as well
01:08so it's like yeah just I don't know after you
01:10I think that Tinker Tailor's Old Aspire is just so beautifully shot I love that film um but there are
01:17so many films that I've seen this this year that are in there that it's kind of it's great to
01:22see them recognised and the artists in particular I absolutely loved it but obviously it's lovely to see a costume
01:29from Jane Eyre nominators because those costumes were looks amazing and were also very very comfortable so
01:36and things like this as well inspire you inspire you to watch other films that you might not see things
01:41that are shortlisted that you've sort of heard about or maybe not even heard about that you go out and
01:44watch
01:45yeah I mean I've been excited to watch Shame for ages and I haven't seen it yet so I think
01:50I might go and watch that tonight actually
01:52I actually it was the it was the documentaries that I because I really want to see Project NIMH because
01:56a lot of my friends have been telling me about it for a while and it sounds kind of amazing
02:00and heartbreaking so I'm definitely going to check that out at some point
02:04and obviously you've been along to some awards I mean how exciting is it on the night to be nominated
02:09and walk away with something
02:12uh don't know I haven't really I'm not in terms of like a BAFTA or something like that um uh
02:18yeah I mean it's great fun it's kind of like it's it's it's all the terror of a premiere but
02:24without having to sit through and watch your film
02:26um like it but but it's yeah I mean it's quite terrifying when there's like the whole industries
02:31there and you're kind of aware of that and but like no one cares about any particular person on that
02:36night
02:36so it's I don't know it's um it's it's a funny thing I'm looking forward to Stephen Fry hosting again
