00:02Dimitra Devon Lovato, better known as Demi Lovato, is an international pop star loved by many worldwide.
00:09Born in New Mexico in 1992, as a child, she first appeared in 2002 in the children's TV series Barneys

00:20Shortly after, received her breakthrough role as Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock

00:35and has been in the musical spotlight ever since.

00:42In 2010, she entered treatment at the age of 18, where she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder,
00:48treated for bulimia, self-harm and addiction.
00:51Continuing with her sobriety for six years, led her to release the very personal song

00:57Despite a relapse in 2018, she has continued to overcome those issues and claims to be a good role model

01:05Being a good role model doesn't mean that one has to uphold some sort of angelic image or pretend to
01:10be perfect, said Demi.
