00:12of a wider renewal programme. Work includes replacing ageing infrastructure in the main
00:17concert hall, Sage One. Giant chiller units were lifted through the glass roof by crane.
00:23Summer works include new stage equipment and automated risers. The venue says many systems
00:29have reached the end of their operational life. Chief Executive Fraser Anderson says the work
00:35is vital for its future. The venue remains open throughout. Sage One is due to reopen
00:40on the 19th of September for classical music.
