Dog Rushes To Greet Owners After Long Separation

Some reunions do not leave much room for composure.

In Townsville, Challa spots his parents from behind a barrier and bounces in place as someone holds the dog back.

The filmer, Katey, said, "We were reunited with our dog, Challa, after 13 months. Following our move to Australia, he had to stay in England with his granny and nanny while we sorted everything out.''

When the restraint is released, Challa charges forward and presses in close, wagging and shifting excitedly as Katey and the boy greet the dog.

The moment lands in the way only a dog can manage, turning a long stretch of distance into something immediate and uncomplicated.
