00:20Our first story, Finovation enhances public health through WASH project.
00:25In today's Finovation Project Spotlight, we feature a WASH program management project implemented in Paradeep, Odisha.
00:32Finovation partnered with a leading manufacturer of calcine petroleum coke to improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene
00:40for communities in Udaybata Ward, Ward No. 4.
00:44The intervention included the installation of a 3,000 litres per hour RO plant, a 15,000 litre storage tank,
00:52WASH awareness sessions in local schools and free health check-up camps promoting hygiene, vaccination and disease prevention.

01:10Moving ahead to our next story, ICICI Bank's CSR spend rises to 994 crore rupees.
01:18ICICI Bank has increased its CSR spending to 994 crore rupees in FY 2025-26, while its ESG initiatives have
01:28positively impacted over 1.98 crore people across India.
01:32Implemented through the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, the programs focused on health care, skill development, livelihoods, environmental conservation, financial
01:43literacy and sports infrastructure.
01:45The foundation also expanded industry 4.0 skill labs, strengthened cancer care infrastructure, planted over 86,000 trees during the
01:54year and reported significant progress in sustainable financing and carbon emission reduction.

02:10HDFC Bank's CSR initiatives reach over 10.77 crore lives.
02:15The bank has announced that its CSR program, Parivartan, has now impacted more than 10.77 crore lives across all
02:2428 states and 8 union territories.
02:27During fiscal year 2025-26, HDFC Bank invested 1,316 crore rupees in CSR, focusing on rural development, education, health
02:38care, skill development, financial inclusion and natural resource management.
02:43Its flagship holistic holistic rural development program now covers over 11,000 villages, while initiatives in border villages, scholarships, smart
02:52schools, libraries and livelihood programs continue to create long-term community impact.
02:58Moving ahead to our next story, Reliance Foundation contributes 21 crore rupees for Assam flood relief.
03:04Reliance Foundation has contributed 21 crore rupees to the Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support flood-affected communities across
03:12the state.
03:12Along with financial assistance, the foundation has launched a comprehensive relief program covering emergency food supplies, health care, temporary shelters,
03:22nutrition support and livestock welfare.
03:24The initiative aims to help thousands of affected families recover while strengthening long-term disaster resilience through coordinated community support.
03:33And now presenting today's final story, Centre clarifies position on unspent CSR funds.
03:40In another important development, the Union Government has informed Parliament that it does not maintain centralised data on unspent CSR
03:48funds and has no policy for the geographical distribution of CSR spending across states.
03:54The Ministry of Corporate Affairs clarified that CSR implementation remains a board-driven process, with companies responsible for planning and
04:02monitoring their CSR activities.
04:05The government reiterated that while companies are encouraged to give preference to local areas where they operate, decisions regarding CSR
04:13investments remain with individual company boards under the Companies Act.
