00:00You saw Cora Clancy on January 24th, 2023 for a physical, correct?
00:06Yes.
00:07And as you stated earlier, prior to seeing her for the physical,
00:11did you look over her chart to see if she had been in recently with any illnesses or anything like
00:16that?
00:17Yes, I would have done that.
00:19And then as the pediatrician, if you'd seen some concerns, would you have addressed them with the parent?
00:24Yes.
00:25And that didn't happen on January 24th, correct?
00:28Correct.
00:28That was Cora's five-year physical, is that right?
00:31Yes.
00:32What were your observations of Cora that day?
00:34As far as I can recall, it was a very normal visit.
00:38Cora seemed to be behaving normally.
00:41I mean, no kid's happy to be there for a checkup, but I didn't notice anything out of the norm.
00:46She seemed perfectly well-behaved, and Mom seemed appropriate as well.
00:50Mom seemed appropriate?
00:51Yes.
00:52You're always looking to see if there's anything out of the ordinary, bruising,
00:57anything indicative of any type of psychiatric problems.
01:00They may have stunted growth or anything.
01:03Is that correct?
01:04Yes.
01:05You're always on the lookout for anything else, even if it's not mentioned to you, right?
01:08Right.
01:09Did you ever notice anything like that on the Clancy kids?
01:12No.
01:13Did they seem healthy?
01:14Yes.
01:15Did they seem happy?
01:16Yes.
01:16Did you know about her being on any medications?
01:19No, I didn't.
01:20She didn't complain to you and say that she had insomnia and that she was unable to sleep
01:25or having difficulty like that?
01:28Not that I can remember.
01:30Did you know that she called the suicide hotline twice towards the end of December?
01:35I did not know that.
01:36Okay.
01:36She was a hell of a mother, wasn't she?
01:38I always thought she was a good mom.
