00:00You guys are always asking me what is the best makeup to wear to castings, so I'm going to go
00:05ahead and give you a little tutorial on natural makeup makeup. Here goes.
00:09First, you have to apply and take care of your skin. I think prepping your skin is the key element
00:14to getting flawless makeup.
00:16First, for me, I have very sensitive skin, rosacea, it's just always irritable. So I start with my Kate Somerville
00:23Quench Serum. It is heavenly. I have dry skin, so I put one pump all over my face.
00:29And then I move on to moisturizer. Yes! My moisturizer of choice is my La Mer Moisturizing Cream. It is
00:37a bit heavier for some people, but my skin is super dry, so I need this.
00:41I put one little gallop of it, and then I rub it in through my fingers so that I warm
00:46up the product and activate all of its ingredients.
00:49And then I just kind of pat it into my skin. That's how I love putting this on. You don't
00:55want to go too heavy because it would be the reason for your foundation breaking up.
00:59Next, I'm obsessed with this Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow. It is a product that I add only to the areas
01:05that I want to have a bit more dewiness and glow, and then I just move on. It's not one
01:10to add too much of.
01:17Glossier really, really killed it with this priming moisturizer. It is an item that I use with every single makeup
01:23application, whether heavy or light. This is a winner, guys.
01:27So I just kind of generously apply it all around, because this is going to sit underneath my foundation.
01:35Which foundation do you ask? Becca Cosmetics Skin Glow. It is magical. I just found out about this product, and
01:42I've never been happier.
01:43I mix it with the Becca Shimmering Cream. I don't know. I don't even remember the name, but I know
01:49the color is opal, even though you can't see it. Still working on this video. Bear with me.
01:54So I apply one pump of that with my foundation, and I blend it in and warm it up on
02:00my hands.
02:01This is a technique you will see with almost every single product that I'm about to use, because I firmly
02:05believe that warming it up allows it to go on smoother.
02:09And as far as application for me with foundation, I wouldn't recommend this if you're doing makeup on someone else.
02:14But it's my own skin, so I'm going to apply it with fingers, which I think adds warmth, which again,
02:18just settles it in perfectly.
02:20And just keep tapping, tapping until you get that perfect complexion. And you can layer this up.
02:25I love this Makeup Forever Ultra HD Concealer, and I mix it with the NARS Concealer.
02:31I'm color Macadamia. I'll find out what color I am in the Ultra HD.
02:36And then spray your Beauty Blender. It is a game changer.
02:41You cannot use the Beauty Blender dry, or it will eat up all your products, so you have to wet
02:44it either with water.
02:45For me, I am using the Urban Decay All Nighter, I think is what it's called, spray, and I use
02:51that to kind of settle it all in.
02:54And I'm going to apply this concealer not too close to my eyes, so that I don't end up too
02:57cakey underneath.
03:04Tom Ford. If you don't own this product, this would be one that I recommend for everyone, no matter what
03:08shade you are.
03:09It is the Sculpt and Illuminae. As you can tell by the back of it, I use it all the
03:14time.
03:14This is like the perfect contour color. Its consistency is really smooth and creamy, so it doesn't take a huge
03:21amount to blend it.
03:22And this is how I contour it myself.
03:25I've learned this from Joanna Javier, my favorite makeup artist on the planet.
03:29Yeah, look at me covering that chin down there. I'm just hooking it all up.
03:35Now don't be afraid to blend. Blend, blend, blend. If you do not blend right, this will not work.
03:41For the sake of time, I cut out one side of my face from blending, because you get the point.
03:47Next, this NARS Orgasm Liquid is heavenly. I love it. I apply very little because it's super pigmented.
03:55And again, something else I blend with Makeup Forever's Cream Blush is this one.
03:59I find the Makeup Forever one is a little thicker, so I have to warm it up a little more.
04:03But once they are together, they roll on the cheek seamlessly.
04:08I also make this really stupid face kind of half smile, because I just feel like I get the better
04:13shape of my cheek that way.
04:16Then, Fenty Beauty's Banana Powder is one of my faves lately.
04:20I just, it's just perfect. You know, I don't apply too much.
04:24I mainly apply the heavier parts of the powder around the areas of my T-zone, my cheeks where I
04:30don't want, around the nose.
04:31And then I don't reapply powder to the brush. I just kind of use whatever's still left over and just
04:35kind of dab on the rest of the face.
04:38MAC Cosmetics has my favorite highlighter on the planet, Whisper of Guilt.
04:41I have been using this one for like six years. It is one of the few products that has always
04:46been in my kit.
04:47And I learned recently to apply highlighter from the middle of the eyeball back and not too forward.
04:52So that's how I do it. I always add a little to my nose, the tip of my nose, but
04:56I always do that with my finger.
04:58Next, Caramel Cutie by Rihanna Fenty.
05:01I know I have to say Rihanna. Sorry, I love me some Riri.
05:04I use that as my bronzer and it's my fave.
05:08Then you have this Makeup Forever Pencil, which I use as a lipstick.
05:12I can't use too much lip color because my lips are really pigmented.
05:15There are times when I have no makeup and you guys are like, oh my god, what color are you
05:17wearing?
05:18And I'm like, shit, I'm not wearing any color.
05:20So in order to subdue the color, I use the La Mer lip balm and I kind of just pat
05:25it in.
05:25So I have no harsh edges or lines and it's just kind of a natural lip color.
05:33After that, I'm actually applying this Fenty Beauty eyeshadow crayon.
05:38It's this gorgeous brown. It's not too dark. It's not too light.
05:42It has a little shimmer and because it's creamy, it goes with our natural makeup makeup.
05:46It makes everything look just like a little bit of pop and fresh as could possibly be.
05:52After that, I'm going to apply this Marc Jacobs Pencil.
05:55I think it's waterproof, but it's also magical.
06:00And, uh, yeah, I'm new to this.
06:04So I couldn't even get the pencil open.
06:07Anyways, Marc Jacobs also has the perfect shading brush.
06:10It's really, really cool.
06:12And so I take a little bit of the pencil with the brush.
06:16And the reason why I didn't have you apply concealer so close in is because I knew we were going
06:19to do this.
06:20And you don't want to have to be fighting with the concealer to get color.
06:23And so you go ahead and you use it as many times as possible and keep blending, but also keep
06:28layering if you want that part of your eye to be darker.
06:31As most of you guys know, I swear by my Kevin O'Conn Curling Eyelash Curler.
06:37It's everything.
06:38My face looks like a different face when my lashes are curled.
06:41So don't be afraid to do this process.
06:44It's important.
06:45If you don't know, Maybelline has this mascara called Lash Discovery.
06:49It's the tiniest little brush.
06:51And I use the waterproof because I learned that waterproof holds the shape of the lashes more.
06:55So I layer that until I'm happy.
06:57Soap Brows.
06:58Let me reiterate this product.
07:00Soap Brows is killer.
07:02It is killing the game in the eyebrow game.
07:04And so it's pretty much a product that all the beauty bloggers use.
07:07I spray a little Fix Plus spray to it to like kind of just melt it a little.
07:12And then I'm going to use my little spoolie and I'm going to brush all the hairs up.
07:16All up.
07:17And if you need to, you can use your finger to tap it down to hold it in place.
07:21MAC also has these like eyebrow crayons, not crayons, like almost like little markers.
07:26And they have the smallest little felt tip.
07:29And you can just literally draw on the hairs of your eyebrows in any spots that you see fit.
07:34I like to do this after I've added the soap brows because I find that it also colors in any
07:39like crustiness that you might have from soap brows.
07:43So just go over and do as you please.
07:45Always draw up.
07:46I think eyebrows look so fresh and young when they're brushed up.
07:50And I actually at this point realized that I may want a little bit more blush.
07:55So don't be afraid after you've finished your face to add a little bit more where you want.
08:00And I added a Tarte Cosmetics blush and Illamasqua blush.
08:05One in a coral color and one in a more pinky color.
08:09I find that those are like my colors of choice for cheeks always.
08:11And again, here's that stupid smile.
08:13But I'm sorry.
08:14It's how it goes.
08:15And now that I feel like I'm happy, I'm actually going to take the powder brush with whatever's left over
08:19and I'm going to blend.
08:22Reiterating blending.
08:23You know, I never want to leave anything where there might be any line.
08:25And so I'm going to go ahead and just kind of go over the face.
08:29Blending is key with every single detail of makeup application.
08:35Fix plus it.
08:36Set it in.
08:37Live your best life.
08:38Enjoy the process.
08:39And we are almost done, you guys.

08:44Breathe in.
08:45Look at yourself.
08:46Really look at yourself.
