00:00So I've seen the question like how do I choose which shade of contour and how do I choose which
00:04shade of highlight since there are two of each. So I'm going to show you. So when it comes to
00:07the
00:07contour, the first color is going to be cooler than the second color. So you always want to use
00:11the cooler shade when you're contouring. The more warmer shade can be used as a bronzer or can be
00:15used to like warm up any area you want. Also you want to remember there's not really rules. So if
00:19you want to use a shade in a certain area, go for it. But this is how I like to
00:23use them. You can
00:23also hold the palette up to your face. The color that's closest to your skin, this is the light
00:27palette that I'm holding up. So this color right in the middle, the second highlight color is closer
00:30to my skin. So I like to use the brighter one under the eye when I'm highlighting because I want
00:36that
00:36brightness right there. Or I'll use the lighter one around the mouth when I want to kind of create
00:40light. And then I'll kind of mix the two together when I'm like going under the contour right here.
00:46If this kind of helps you guys at all. And also if you need to lighten the contour color, you
00:51can rub
00:51the brush in the contour and dab it in one of the highlights, blend it on the back of your
00:56wrist,
00:56and that's going to lighten that shade up for you.
