The peaches I’d gone to the trouble of chilling have gone and rebelled. I came home from work drenched in sweat, opened the fridge to have one, only to find they’d staged a rebellion that looked like a right faff—there’s no way I’m going to be able to peel and eat them now.
It’s just one of those days. And it’s so hot, too.
As it turns out, I was unable to save the Earth after all. I have decided to preserve this as a collection of myths for future generations.
